Stellar Corpse
The choreography for this production is influenced by the astronomical analysis of binary stars, a system consisting of a star orbiting a black hole. The gravitational bond between a star and a black hole becomes a cosmic occurrence that we are translating into a central emotional theme of dependency through the dancers' movement. Our performance composition represents an ever increasing magnitude of manipulated motion between dancers which is enhanced by customized lighting so each body is transformed into movements of light and color that resemble space-like abstractions of the choreography. The film’s concept conveys an intertwined timespan relative to the world that surrounds us.
