Statement
I utilize printmaking, drawing, dance, and film to explore, and better understand, how the psychological effects of local memory intersect with the sociological impacts of the global ongoing water crisis.
BIO
Sonja is an interdisciplinary artist from St. Louis, MO based in Queens, NY. She received her BFA from Ohio Wesleyan University and her MFA from Pratt Institute. Sonja is currently working collaboratively on experimental dance films with the collective Molar Movement Projects, which she co-founded.
